No one quite knows how they come across that old logbook.

It's easy to tell that no one has written in the small, leather-backed book in quite some time. The pages are a bit yellow, a bit rumpled, and the binding is slowly coming apart. Some people came to find it in an old cabinet at the abandoned police headquarters. After the new one was built, they packed up and left the old building. Everything went except for that little cabinet and the little notebook inside. After the book was first found, it was passed around. That might be how it ended up in your hands...
Inside are detailed accounts on some interesting criminals, and victims, from previous cases of someone called "Festus". That almost definitely isn't their real name. Across the front of the book is etched "Festus's Log Book".
Everyone has permission to read of the characters contained within these antique pages, yellowed with age. No one can claim the logbook as their own, however. These recordings belong to Festus, and cannot be stolen or pawned off to make a quick buck.
So if that's what you're considering with the accounts inside, I personally suggest you avoid it. No one has yet tried as no one dares to, but take one step in that direction and it will be the worst decision you make.
