His mother and father are incredibly close to him, and he still keeps up with them every once and a while.

Psychological Profile:
Aaron is very reserved about his life. He prefers keeping to himself and not sharing his past with others. Most don't care. To them, he's just another ram on the Rockies. His best friends ask him about his past sometimes, but usually don'y get a good answer. Aaron prefers not to share that kind of stuff. Not even getting to know Aaron helps in finding out about him. He's completely reserved about pretty much everything. The only thing he speaks of openly might be his art and mountain climbing.
Calm, collective, thoughtful, little Aaron loves peace. He enjoys most of all laying with his hooves tucked under his warm belly fur watching the sunset. Being calm has helped him out a lot. His friends get into fights constantly, you know, because guy rams fight a lot. Aaron doesn't like fighting, and has gotten most of his friends to stop fighting midway by telling them calmly how to settle things. Now the others have many, many other ways to settle mating rights, including playing chess or hangman.
Aaron is one of those kind guys who like it when people are happy with him. His good natured quality has encouraged people to be his friend and listen to him. He believes that kindness is a virtue everyone should carry. His favorite movie is "A Christmas Carol" because he loves seeing Scrooge go from a nasty old miser to a good natured man. His niceness also gives him inspiration to help others.
Aaron? In the limelight? You're kidding me! Aaron hates being in the center of attention. Wait, I shouldn't use hate. He "severely dislikes" being the center of attention. It makes him nervous and edgy. Even a few people focused on Aaron makes him stamp his hooves and look quickly back and forth. He's also severely claustrophobic. I'm not going to tell you how many times Aaron has sat on the edge of a crowd, hyperventilating and whipping his head back and forth in fear. Aaron is totally unprepared for everything involved with attention. He has never in his life presented, not even speeches.
Inside Aaron's house, there are tons and tons of paintings and drawings he's done himself. Aaron is extremely creative. He loves drawing more than anything. Aaron has probably thought up a million characters, and then some. His old school projects still hang on the walls, pictures of hand drawn animals showing about vertebrae well shown upon them. Now, here's the question; How does a ram with hooves draw?
If Aaron found his old tests from high school, he'd be surprised. Despite the fact he thinks he is just of average intelligence, he's had straight A's his entire life. He's very smart, with a large brain between those curling horns. Aaron uses his knowledge everywhere, to be sure about how to do things and such. He would never think of himself as above average intelligence. He's seriously had an A in everything.... Even in lunch!
The Tapes of the Past
It was an average day in the life of a ram, well, mostly average.
Aaron eagerly cleaned his cluttered home, trying to ready up for his parents, who were coming to visit tomorrow. He tidied each room individually, sticking his rounded nose into the smallest places and attacking the dust bunnies beneath. Upon finishing up the living room, his quarters, and the guest quarters, Aaron decided to take a challenge. He would tackle the attic, a dark cave filled with entrails from the past. Arming himself with a broom, pan, and a pillow for armor, he hippity hopped up the stairs to the attic, and opened the door.
It was exactly how he remembered it. Except a lot dustier. Everything from boxes to old chests was coated in a layer of dust. Aaron sneezed and began working. The attic would look like the rest of the house did, he thought. He wanted desperately to clean out the room, being quite a neat freak. It took three hours of tears, sweat, and tired muscles, but he finally managed. The attic was void of dust. Looking around at all the old stuff, Aaron began to dig through it.
Most of the boxes held photos and mementos of his childhood. One contained a large array of tapes, most with dates on them. Curiously, Aaron took the tapes downstairs. He went back to the attic, sorting through the miscellaneous Pokemon cards and scrapbooks, until he found it. His dad's old Walkman tape player. Carrying the ancient piece of equipment, he set it down beside the tapes.
With that, Aaron placed the tape with the earliest date in the Walkman and stuck the headphones over his ears. Time to get cracking on these, to discover what they were. With that thought, he started up the player..

"Hiya! I'm Aaron, although my best friends call me Ron. I'm an average elementary student. This is my journal, trust me. It's not a diary."
~Aaron's eyes widened and he continued listening.~
"Now then, curious as to why I am starting these journal tapes today? I got a recorder and a bunch of empty tapes for my birthday! Awesome right? Now I'm nine years old. I go to the North Rockies Elementary and I am in the third grade. My teacher's name is Ms. Belluwe.
I'm an average student, although my friends call me a genius since I've not gotten a B or below ever in my life. I think it's just an exaggeration, I'm just a regular, average intelligence student. Anyway, I bet you want to know the events of today, no? Well alright!"
~"I remember this day..." Aaron thought as he continued hearing his excited younger self.~
"Today I took four tests, one in math, one in reading, one in social studies, and one in science. I was the only one who seemed excited the entire time. My friends were all groaning and moaning because of it. I had fun! The tests only further reminded me that despite that, today was my birthday and it would be the best day ever!
After finishing the Social Studies test, I doodled in my notebook. It was a birthday message to me! I know, sounds like I'm just a crazy old goat. Well, I'm not. Today was truly a great day."
~What else happened... Aaron thought as he listened on.~
"After the test the teacher had the whole class sing happy birthday to me. It was really exciting and afterwards I passed out cupcakes to everyone, as a token of my gratitude. I had a lot of friends because of that. After a long yet fun day of school, my friends and I went to roleplay some Doctor Who, a favorite show of ours. If my future self is listening, I hope you still like The Doctor!"
~"Yes I do" Chuckled Aaron~
"Anyway, this time I got to be the Doctor. We were going through a regeneration scene since it was my birthday. It was the best! I had so much fun! Then my friends went home, while I stayed at the meadow we played in and put touchups on our "TARDIS" Alright, so it was a bright blue, old, smelly Porta Potty. One discarded here by humans. But trust me, we cleaned it up great!"
~Aaron wrinkled his nose, remembering the Porta Potty~
"I went home after a while to a pleasant surprise. Everyone was shouting happy birthday to me! They eagerly jumped from hiding places with shouts of surprise. My dad said I passed out on the floor. After I 'came to' we went in the kitchen and I opened my presents while my parents made the cake. And that brings us up to current time! Got to go now, Ma's calling for cake! Next tape will be a new event I'm sure you will be excited to hear!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aaron laughed. "I forgot about these old tapes!" He said gleefully. He ejected the tape from the Walkman, still chuckling. He sorted through the small assortment of the others. There were five tapes left, excluding the one he had just listened to. He thought about it for a moment, wondering if he should continue going through the tapes. A small voice told him to go for it. Before however, he had dinner to cook. After slapping together some salad and greens then sticking them in the fridge, he grabbed the second tape, and pushed it into the Walkman.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Today was... Alright I guess. Today is just any old day. It's Aaron again, if you can guess by my voice. As I speak I am twelve years old. My horns are growing in quite nicely, my dad says. I decided to make a tape today because... Well.... Today I got in a fight. It wasn't serious, but it hurt a lot."
~Aaron's eyes widened as he remembered this day.~
"How it started was just... Well.... Stupid. I was minding my own business, discussing Star Trek with some friends, when the sound of other rams clashing horns rang from the hall. My friends and I excitedly charged into a gathered crowd to watch. A pair of rams were battling it out in the center of the school, with a crowd egging them on. I was standing on the edge, and one of the fighters smashed into my chest. I butted him away, and earned both their attention."
~"Oh dear..."~
"So I was in the fight after that. It wasn't easy either, although I managed to hold my own. Left school with only a black eye and a chipped horn. Although I got in trouble. Speaking of trouble... I'm supposed to be grounded! Gotta go, dad's comin!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aaron took the headphones off of his ears slowly. He sat there for a moment, then rubbed a hoof along his horn, feeling the small yet present chip in his horn. He shuddered, remembering how painful the black eye was. "That's why I don't fight..." He said softly, then went out for a while, taking the Walkman with the next tape along with him. Climbing slowly, he leaped amongst the rocks, stopping after a time to turn on the Walkman yet again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Greetings, listeners. I am Aaron, yet again, recording on my tapes. This time was a most wonderful time. Today I had my first mountain climb. I'll describe it in full detail, it was just so great."
~Aaron grinned, as he clambered easily and skillfully over and around the rocks~
"Erh Her Hem...
'The sun glittered off the rocks as I stared up their sides. A sort of calm had settled on the staggering mount, so tall against the sky. I squinted, staring up and taking it all in. The mountain stood, strong and silent, a soldier among his army. Why this particular mountain? Who knew. Who cared. My father took the first step. His hooves found places to hold on I would have never seen, as he went up the face of the rocks. "Come on, Aaron!" He shouted and I took my first step. Onto those gleaming rocks. I headed up the mountain with glee, eagerly picking my way along. I had no clue how I was able to find certain holds, I guess I was a natural. And we made it to the summit. The sun beamed brightly, sending rays all around the snow here. I just stared, wide eyed in amazement. This, is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life..."
~Aaron smiled "And I do."
"My dad said that I was a really good climber and that maybe one day I would become a professional. Tomorrow, I'm going out to the mountains to practice. For a 14 year old ram, I know I can do this!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aaron stared at the Walkman, which crackled with the end of the tape. He sat atop the summit of a mountain, curiously inspecting the old thing. He didn't want to listen to anymore of his old tapes for a while, especially not with the Walkman seeming dead. "Maybe it takes batteries.." He hoped, but things look grim. Aaron headed home.
Upon arriving home, Aaron took the Walkman out and toyed with it. Why had it just gone inanimate like that? He didn't know. Whatever it was, he couldn't fix it. Quickly he went over and grabbed the phone, pounding his dad's phone number in with his hooves. He waited impatiently until his dad picked up.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"It's me dad, it's Aaron."
"Aaron! What do you need? We're coming to visit tomorrow by the way!"
"Yeah I know. Listen; do you have that old Walkman still in the attic? The one that plays cassette tapes?"
"Umm..... Hang on let me check."
Aaron tapped his hoof while his father checked the attic of his home.
"Yessir son. Got the Walkman right here"
"Please bring it with when you visit. I found some old tapes from when I was younger"
"Is that all?"
"Yes sir."
"Bye Aaron, see ya tomorrow"
"See ya dad"
Aaron heard the phone go dead. His father had hung up.
He sat down quietly in the kitchen, staring at the tapes. With curiosity to see if there was something he could use, he went upstairs to the attic to see if there was an old tape player, one that played aloud. With a sigh of relief he found one. He pulled it out, only to discover there was something wrong with it. Fiddling around, he fixed it and dragged the ancient box downstairs. He set up to play it with that.
Sticking the next tape into the old player, he suddenly wondered what was on it. "This is the fourth tape... Who knows what the fifth one will be." With that thought, he slowly pressed play on the player, and the tape clicked into action, relaying his past with one touch of a button.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hello again loyal followers. Its Aaron on the air, with the hottest new info on your favorite Bighorn! -Pause-
Catchy title, no? I'm working on a project for school right now, and the best one gets to go on air! It's an announcement that pertains to something that happened in your life that was big, huge, unbelievable. And my event is so gonna win. Who knew a 16 year old like me could have a tale so amazing and unbelievable that it would win no matter what? Well I do! It's been a while since I last spoke in here, since my life has been... well... pretty uneventful. It's just been a year of school, friends, ect, etc."
Aaron listened quietly. He felt a little odd listening to himself out loud instead of in the Walkman. Checking the clock quickly, he saw the time was 12:01 AM already. "I gotta go to bed!" He said shortly. He paused the tape player.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aaron clopped to his bedroom, yawning quietly. Today had been a messed up day for him. He had expected to simply clean then read, but instead ended up listening to tapes for most of the time. With a sigh he trotted up to his bed and climbed up, pulling on a night cap as he went. Aaron snuggled in under he covers gladly. He snoozed and dreamed of the tapes and the events that happened in them.
Laughing, gazing at the sun, Aaron played along with his friends. He was the Doctor at the time. "Come on Jack, Rose, we have planets to save!" He laughed in a phony british accent, hopping along. His friends giggled and followed. "But wait Doctor! What if the Daleks attack?" Called his one, the one playing Rose. "We will fight them off then!" The Doctor called back. Suddenly, another friend popped up. "Good luck, Doctor, for it seems the daleks will have you this time!" The "Dalek" said in a metallic voice. "I can live forever! Let me at em!" Shouted Jack. They all fell to the ground laughing. "Hey, Aaron, we gotta go." Said his friends sadly. "I'll stay here and work on the TARDIS. Want it to be perfect next time I plunge into the space-time continuum." They waved by and clopped off. Aaron stayed behind, working hard. After a while he went home, met with a delightful surprise. "Happy Birthday Aaron!" A surprise party! It was the best day of his life, and the day he got his tapes.
His dreams seemed to be replaying the tapes, but visually.
Aaron snorted, pawing the ground, a twelve year old ram stuck in a fight. He fought off both attackers but was hit in the eye with a recoil attack. "I'll show you worm!" One of the other Bighorns snorted, pawing the ground angrily. He charged Aaron, and Aaron charged him. They collided with thunderous force, sending both bouncing backwards. Aaron watched, as if in slow motion, a piece of his horn fall to the ground. He rubbed a hoof over the chip, then in a mad rush smashed into the second ram. By the time the teachers pulled them apart, Aaron and his competitor had several injuries, Aaron's worse being a black eye and a chipped horn. The principal called his father. Aaron was angry, but had hated what went on. Fighting was not his style. "I'll never fight again..." he promised himself.
Aaron grunted as a sort of stop then play symbol danced across his head, then settled somewhat as the next part of his dreams began. It was the third tape, him seeing it from his point of view.
The mountain loomed threatening, yet invitingly over Aaron. He gazed in amazement up it's side, his father chuckling at the young sheep's amusement. "Excited to climb?" He called over, and Aaron nodded vigorously. With that comment, the pair started up the mountain. Aaron's father hopped up easily and without trouble, while Aaron half-struggled behind. He worked his hooves into the smallest crevices and cracks on the towering hill. After a half hour, he stopped panting, beads of sweat dotting his face. His father sat several feet above. "You alright?" He called down, wondering if Aaron was up to this. He was only a young ram. Aaron looked up and simply nodded. He began up the mountain once more, this time quicker and with more determination. Finally he conquered the great rock, flattening himself out on the mighty summit. "I... I made it!" He shouted gleefully, although panted hard. His father put a hoof on his back. "We made it son." Aaron gazed with amazement at the world below, even the largest rams only mere ants from so high. "I wanna do this the rest of my life!" He shouted. "I wanna climb forever"~
Aaron awoke after that. He sniffed the air, smelling the early morning stench that always lingered in his breath and coat. He hopped out of bed groggily and took a quick shower, forgetting about both his dream and the tapes completely. With a groan he pawed his way to the kitchen, preparing a favorite of his; Salad and crutons. He began eating, happening to glance randomly over and see a familiar sight. The tapes sat on the table, shining and adding to his curiosity. He reached over, baggy eyes widening as he lifted a tape. The top said #4, and he remembered. He had been listening to the fourth tape.
Aaron clopped to his bedroom, yawning quietly. Today had been a messed up day for him. He had expected to simply clean then read, but instead ended up listening to tapes for most of the time. With a sigh he trotted up to his bed and climbed up, pulling on a night cap as he went. Aaron snuggled in under he covers gladly. He snoozed and dreamed of the tapes and the events that happened in them.
Laughing, gazing at the sun, Aaron played along with his friends. He was the Doctor at the time. "Come on Jack, Rose, we have planets to save!" He laughed in a phony british accent, hopping along. His friends giggled and followed. "But wait Doctor! What if the Daleks attack?" Called his one, the one playing Rose. "We will fight them off then!" The Doctor called back. Suddenly, another friend popped up. "Good luck, Doctor, for it seems the daleks will have you this time!" The "Dalek" said in a metallic voice. "I can live forever! Let me at em!" Shouted Jack. They all fell to the ground laughing. "Hey, Aaron, we gotta go." Said his friends sadly. "I'll stay here and work on the TARDIS. Want it to be perfect next time I plunge into the space-time continuum." They waved by and clopped off. Aaron stayed behind, working hard. After a while he went home, met with a delightful surprise. "Happy Birthday Aaron!" A surprise party! It was the best day of his life, and the day he got his tapes.
His dreams seemed to be replaying the tapes, but visually.
Aaron snorted, pawing the ground, a twelve year old ram stuck in a fight. He fought off both attackers but was hit in the eye with a recoil attack. "I'll show you worm!" One of the other Bighorns snorted, pawing the ground angrily. He charged Aaron, and Aaron charged him. They collided with thunderous force, sending both bouncing backwards. Aaron watched, as if in slow motion, a piece of his horn fall to the ground. He rubbed a hoof over the chip, then in a mad rush smashed into the second ram. By the time the teachers pulled them apart, Aaron and his competitor had several injuries, Aaron's worse being a black eye and a chipped horn. The principal called his father. Aaron was angry, but had hated what went on. Fighting was not his style. "I'll never fight again..." he promised himself.
Aaron grunted as a sort of stop then play symbol danced across his head, then settled somewhat as the next part of his dreams began. It was the third tape, him seeing it from his point of view.
The mountain loomed threatening, yet invitingly over Aaron. He gazed in amazement up it's side, his father chuckling at the young sheep's amusement. "Excited to climb?" He called over, and Aaron nodded vigorously. With that comment, the pair started up the mountain. Aaron's father hopped up easily and without trouble, while Aaron half-struggled behind. He worked his hooves into the smallest crevices and cracks on the towering hill. After a half hour, he stopped panting, beads of sweat dotting his face. His father sat several feet above. "You alright?" He called down, wondering if Aaron was up to this. He was only a young ram. Aaron looked up and simply nodded. He began up the mountain once more, this time quicker and with more determination. Finally he conquered the great rock, flattening himself out on the mighty summit. "I... I made it!" He shouted gleefully, although panted hard. His father put a hoof on his back. "We made it son." Aaron gazed with amazement at the world below, even the largest rams only mere ants from so high. "I wanna do this the rest of my life!" He shouted. "I wanna climb forever"~
Aaron awoke after that. He sniffed the air, smelling the early morning stench that always lingered in his breath and coat. He hopped out of bed groggily and took a quick shower, forgetting about both his dream and the tapes completely. With a groan he pawed his way to the kitchen, preparing a favorite of his; Salad and crutons. He began eating, happening to glance randomly over and see a familiar sight. The tapes sat on the table, shining and adding to his curiosity. He reached over, baggy eyes widening as he lifted a tape. The top said #4, and he remembered. He had been listening to the fourth tape.
